White Water Rafting Padas River (Grade III - IV)

The Padas river is Sabah's premium rafting destination for those looking for an exciting, adrenalin filled day out! Located in the interior southwest of Sabah and only accessible by train this trip will offer you not only an un-forgettable day of rafting but also the chance to enjoy the beautiful views from the back of Borneo's oldest train!

No previous experience of rafting is required but bring your sense of adventure for this exciting trip down Sabah's only grade 3 to 4 rapids!

Itinerary

5.20am- Early morning pick up from hotel and transfer by coach to Beaufort Railway Station.

8am- Arrive in Beaufort station and board the train Pangi bound. The thrilling and scenic ride will take around 1 ½ hours – 2 hours to get to Pangi station, the starting point of your adventure down the river.

10.30am- Once you have arrived at Pangi, light refreshments will be served, a safety briefing conducted by the rafting crew and then the Rafting commences. It should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to navigate your way down the 10km stretch of water from Pangi to Rayoh (ending point) hitting the 8 big names on the way down!

12.30pm- Back in Rayoh with time to freshen up before enjoying a delicious lunch by the river. During and after lunch there will always be the discussion of who's raft was the best, fastest and wettest! After lunch it's back on-board Borneo's oldest train for the return journey to Beaufort.
